Know that it is possible, it will just take a little more effort. Clearly keep in mind that there is no real magic formula that will lead you to success; Instead, there are guidelines that you can use to get noticed within the platform.

Before proceeding, therefore, try to establish the type of content you want to publish. Do you love to travel? Take photos while on the go, but try to stand out from the majority of Instagram users posting photos of their travels. Just to give you an example; very often travelers who share photos on Instagram post photos of landscapes, you could post photos of the inhabitants of the places you visit, thus documenting different cultures.

Do you love cooking? Take pictures of foods that stand out for their particularity, in order to stand out in the category of the most common food bloggers on Instagram. These are just a few examples that came to mind: the gist of it is that you have to put your creativity into practice to be as original as possible. Once you’ve found your industry, focus on it and always post themed photos. Do you know what they say? “don’t change a winning team”.

If you are still not sure what kind of content to publish and what aesthetic imprint to give it, try to involve your audience: publish test contents that are different from each other and ask the opinion of your followers; I’m sure they will appreciate being involved.

If you are not well informed on the matter, you should know that hashtags are nothing more than clickable labels that allow you to categorize your images.

Using hashtags on Instagram is essential, since this allows you to categorize images and make them appear in the search results of the social network. In fact, people very often do research on Instagram starting from hashtags. Consequently, if the photo you shared does not have any hashtags, no one else, apart from your followers or more generally the people who visit your profile, will be able to find the content you have published.

On Instagram, it is possible to insert up to 30 hashtags in the description. You don’t have to use them all; the important thing is to insert hashtags related to the shared photo. Not sure which hashtags to use? Do not worry. There are several tools that allow you to identify the hashtags to use based on the published image.

In order to search for hashtags to use quickly and easily, I recommend using the Top Hashtag website, the Websta website, or the application for Android and iOS Tag for Likes.

Interact with the community

On Instagram, it’s not just you. If you want to become famous on this photo sharing platform, you need to get noticed by other users of the social network. Interaction with other people is essential, so don’t forget to also take a look at the profiles of other users.

I don’t know if you noticed, but on Instagram users seem to be “shy”: many put “like”, but there are not many who comment. To become popular on Instagram reverse this trend and start interacting with the social network community.

Be spontaneous and don’t comment only using emojis: write a textual comment that is sincere, in case of appreciation. A constructive comment is also fine if you have to criticize a posted photo.

Follow the profiles of the people you are interested in and send them a private message to thank them if they follow you back. Interaction with the community is the key to success: in this way, you will not be just an account that publishes photos but a person with real interests and passions.

You can also take advantage of Instagram’s advanced tools like Stories and Live Streaming to make videos where you show yourself firsthand. Tell about your passions in live streaming as if these were a sort of “behind the scenes” to the publication of the photos on Instagram; you will see that people will appreciate your spontaneity and naturalness.

In particular, I think Live streaming is definitely the best tool to use if you want to become famous on Instagram. I say this because, following the introduction of a new feature, Instagram allows you to create a live broadcast with your follower. Publish photos also on Facebook

Do your Facebook friends know about your passion for photography but don’t have an Instagram account through which they can view your photos? Don’t worry, you can fix it very easily by posting Instagram photos on Facebook as well.

Doing it is really simple: in the following lines, I’ll explain how to do it. The first thing you need to do is link your Instagram account to your Facebook profile. To do this, click on the little man symbol at the bottom right. Then tap the button with the gear symbol that you can see at the top right, and look for the Settings section. Then tap on Connected accounts: at this point select Facebook from the list of available social networks.

Then connect your Facebook account so that the publication of Instagram contents can also take place on Facebook. However, sharing will have to be manually authorized for each image you upload to Instagram: to do this, you will only have to move the lever corresponding to the Facebook entry that you will find in the posting screen of a photo on Instagram from OFF to ON.

In this way, the photo will also be published on your Facebook profile and you will be able to reach a greater audience.
